Q: Do you offer same-day services?
A: Unfortunately we have had to halt our same-day offerings due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to keep our staff safe, we currently quarantine all items for 24-hrs before cleaning.
Q:How do I sign up for the pick up & delivery service?
A: You can send us an email at info@styleandgracecleaners.ca or call us in store at (416) 261-2204.
Q: Is it possible to get my garment pressed only ?
A: We do not currently offer press only services. Due to Covid-19 precautions we must clean all items that enter the store, this includes items for pressing and items for repair.
Q:What is dry cleaning/wet cleaning?

Q:Do you have other locations in the GTA?
A: Our 3678 St. Clair East location is our only location currently. That said, we service select areas of the GTA through our pick-up and delivery services.

Q: Is an appointment needed/can I just drop off my gown?
A: We work on an appointment basis and do not currently offer walk-in appointments or drop-offs of wedding gowns & formal wear. Our consultations typically take 45mins-1hour and include a lot of information. We want to ensure our clients are well informed and able to make the best decisions for their items, based on an in-depth knowledge of incoming conditions, possible risks, likely outcomes and expectations. Q: How are you operating during Covid-19/has anything changed?
A: As a cleaning and laundering company, we have been deemed essential by the Ontario Government and remain open, following all Covid-19 protocols. We are still conducting in-person appointments for wedding gowns and formal wear, with a strict 2 person limit within our storefront. Virtual appointments are not regularly available and currently limited to out-of-town/province clients or in other limited circumstances as determined by our gown specialists.
Q: Do you rent gowns?
A: We don’t currently rent gowns.
Q: Should I get my previously loved gown cleaned before or after alterations?
A: We always recommend cleaning previously loved dresses prior to getting them altered. This is because dirt and grime can become trapped in new hemlines. This trapped soiling becomes very hard to remove and can remain visible despite cleaning. Also, most seamstresses prefer to work on a clean garment, especially right now during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Q: Do you offer shipping & delivery?
A: We currently offer shipping for preservation clients only. Shipping is offered through a third party shipping company at clients expense and with the understanding of full risk. We offer complimentary delivery of both preserved gowns and clean only gowns within the GTA.
Q:What is the best way to pack my gown for a destination wedding?
A: We currently offer specialized travel packages for wedding gowns, however the sizes are limited and these packages must be checked in at the time of travel. Another option we recommend to clients, is to travel with your gown as hand luggage. We advise storing the gown in the original fabric garment bag with an additional heavy-duty plastic garment bag or layer to help prevent stains from condensation that forms in the overhead compartment on the plane. We also highly recommend that you contact your airline ahead of time and/or arrive early to the airport as you may be able to arrange storage in an upright compartment or a larger storage space.
Q: Do you clean wedding shoes as well?
A: We do not currently offer shoe cleaning.
Q:Do you recommend places to purchase a wedding gown?
A: Purchasing a wedding gown is deeply personal and based on a number of factors. We currently work with a wide variety of designers and boutiques across southern Ontario. Check out our full list here.
Q: Do you do wedding gown & formal wear alterations and fittings?
A: At this time we do not offer in house alterations or fittings. However, we do refer and work closely with a number of Toronto’s best independent tailors & seamstresses. Check out our full list here.
